Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IPAF Operator to join our team. As an IPAF Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts, to assist with construction and maintenance projects. Your expertise in operating these machines safely and efficiently will contribute to the success of our operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate and maneuver powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts, according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
- Inspect equipment before each use to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues or hazards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and refueling
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tasks efficiently
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to minimize accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work progress, concerns, or any incidents that may arise
**Experience**:
- Proven experience operating powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) license/certification is required
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to operating powered access equipment
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and safety documents
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills
- Physical stamina to withstand long periods of standing, walking, climbing, and operating machinery
- Attention to detail to ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to guidelines
