We are looking for a creative, motivated and friendly person to join the Pre-Arrival and Induction (PAI) Team at a crucial time of year to support the development of information for new students starting University in September.

Bringing your experiences and insight as a current student, you will have the opportunity to propose and implement any changes to the resources we provide to new students.

The University’s pre-arrival resources currently include (not an exhaustive list):

- New Students website
- New Students Facebook Group
- UoE Events app
- ‘How To’ Sessions

**The Opportunity**:
As part of this internship, you will develop communication skills, social media skills and gain an understanding of the University processes in place to support new students. Bringing your experience and expertise as a current student at the University of Edinburgh, your input will be crucial in shaping the journey for new students joining in 2024.

This post is fixed term (12 weeks) and full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

Employ.ed on Campus is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK. You cannot take part if you are a visiting student, or you have already taken part in the programme before.
