**Job description**

**Schedule**:

- 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- Training for 2 months in the hours of 08:00 - 17:00. (4-hours worked between these times) Set times to be determined and can be semi flexible.
- Once training complete, times will change to evening hours from 20.00 - 00.00
- Friday eve shift could be done on a Saturday
- Must be flexible if shifts need to change
- Once trained you will be working as a team of 2.

**The role**

As a Hygiene Operative you will be responsible for the cleaning of a soft drinks production site. This will include production areas including brewery, packing line and warehouse. You will be required to clean to a high standard and follow strict cleaning schedules to ensure we maintain the highest level of food hygiene and cleanliness. You will be a team player, resilient and will be able to adapt to a brewery and packing line environment as it can be busy. Your safety is our priority and to ensure this we will provide you with training and the relevant personal protective equipment. Previous hygiene experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.

**Your responsibilities will be**:

- Maintaining standards of hygiene, quality and product safety within the designated areas in order to meet the customer service standards and maintain product integrity
- To follow agreed controls for safe working practices in relation to personnel, product, processes and/or raw materials, identifying risks and taking the appropriate actions to ensure a safe working environment
- Handling chemicals once trained

**We are looking for**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a food manufacturing environment, is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Good understanding of the importance of hygiene, GMP and health and safety in a production environment
- To be self-disciplined, motivated and able to work on own initiative when necessary
- Good communication skills - able to understand and follow instructions to carry out daily tasks
- Able to work at pace and follow procedures
- Flexible approach to work
