An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced qualified nurse to join the Dispensing and Treatment Team, which forms part of Substance Misuse Services.
- psychosocial intervention to support recovery.

The main duties of the job will include

Taking responsibility for the clinical management of a caseload of individuals with substance use problems.
Conducting detailed clinical assessments.
Liaising with and supporting nursing and medical teams within Community Addiction Unit
Planning and delivering programmes of treatment to clients on the caseload.
Providing supervision to junior staff, and to Key Worker Assistants.
Working from a context of Harm Reduction principles
Providing Brief Therapeutic Interventions, following appropriate training.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
