**Our client is a scaling and exciting proptech company, with offices in New York and London**:
As HR Officer you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, operational HR support to their London and international employees. Providing support to the Global HR Manager to champion their people agenda and ensure a consistent approach across the business.

**Main Duties And Responsibilities**:
Employee Life Cycle:

- Maintain and update HR database in an accurate and timely manner (IRIS HR)
- Manage the starters/leavers process, including issuing offer letters and contracts, conducting regional inductions, ensuring the preparation of approval forms and letters to support any employee changes and the offboarding of employees, including carrying out any exit interviews.
- Manage the absence management process, logging absences into the HR database and providing monthly reports
- Manage new hire background checks, ensuring completion and recording on the HR database
- New starter administration and supporting managers to ensure new hires have a positive onboarding and induction experience
- Ensure probation periods are reviewed by line managers and any performance issues are flagged to the Global HR Manager in a timely manner
- Responsible for planning and coordinating induction sessions and other HR related events, such as Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, teambuilding days, wellbeing and employee events, Lunch & Learns, etc.
- Ensure ‘Right to Work’ documents are received, and all employment related visa matters for employee is checked and uploaded to the HR database
- Supports the setup and implementation of annual performance appraisals/reviews

Payroll & Benefits
- Provide accurate and timely data for monthly payroll process for the Payroll & Benefits Manager to review and process to payroll
- Provide updated data to benefit provider as and when requested
- Assist with employees benefits/insurance queries (gathering quotes for employees who wish to add family members to their policies)

Recruitment & Talent
- Take job briefs and create (or update) job descriptions and ensure authorisation has been received to kick start the recruitment process
- Manage the onboarding process and conduct the first day induction presentation

Employee Services and Engagement
- Provide outstanding first line support for day-to-day HR queries & requests from employees and managers
- Act as the ‘go-to’ person for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on Company policies and procedures
- Champion ’ employee engagement initiatives, such as hi-po programme, Diversity & Inclusion strategy, plus much more

HRIS/Data Management and Reporting
- Owning and producing the monthly board reports and other management information and ad hoc reporting requests, using a number of datasets to produce the reports in excel and other formats as required
- Ensures data integrity.
- Support the ISO and Finance audit processes

**Skills And Experience**:

- Experience of administration in a fast-paced HR environment
- Experience of managing payroll activities and following monthly payroll processes
- Ability to prioritise tasks and a pro-active, solutions orientated approach to work
- Familiar with UK Employment Law with a good working knowledge of HR practices and procedures
- A supportive and collaborative team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Methodical and organised in your approach to work with high attention to detail and a professional, calm manner
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
