Working as part of a distributed team to actively drive growth and awareness of our products. You will work with the Regional Field Sales Manager for implementing a strategic business plan and delivering to agreed commercial targets within the Territory.Your focus will be driving sales growth through established and new customers in the East of Germany. This position will be supported by the Customer Service, Technical Support and Applications teams.

The role is to cover the area of Eastern Germany (50% travel required) so it would be preferable if you are based in the region. Proficiency in the German language is crucial.

Other responsibilities include:

- Collecting potential key account information and identifying and closing new opportunities within the region.
- Contributing to tactical planning to redefine the existing NGS market.
- Understanding of funding cycles and the decision-making process in designated key accounts.
- Delivering to the agreed targets for MinION, GridION and PromethION systems.
- Adhering to standard processes for tracking, recording and detailing relevant commercial intelligence from all customer interactions.
- Handling weekly sales prospective information and reporting and updating the regional team.

What We're Looking For...
BSc preferably in Life Sciences with proven abilities as a commercial professional. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Ideally, you'll have experience working with research/life science departments, with confirmed abilities in selling groundbreaking products or services.
You know your way around CRM systems are commercially astute with the ability to work to budgets and you will have excellent local knowledge of best business practices.

This role will suit someone keen to join an exciting, ground breaking high-tech organisation and who is confident working under pressure with minimum supervision in a matrixed sales and service environment.
