We have an opportunity for a permanent, full time Administrator to join our Occupational & Wellbeing Team.

you will be expected to provide, prioritise and co-ordinate reception, clerical and administrative support to the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Department by maintaining the efficient and smooth running of the general office within agreed procedures.

The post-holder is required to work autonomously to a great extent and exercise a measure of independent judgement and use of initiative, including the prioritisation of own workload.

2. During clinic session and departmental opening hours provide a reception service for clients and visitors, ensuring the smooth running of clinics to time. At other times to give appropriate advice and initiate action as required. This may include giving of advice and information about clinical matters within set procedures and using own judgement and initiative as necessary. To deal with telephone enquiries within agreed parameters, passing the call or enquiry on to nursing, medical or managerial staff, using own judgement as necessary.

3. Deal with correspondence by sending standard letters as appropriate and replying to queries and
requests in writing. To assist with typing where necessary. Ensure that all incoming mail is
appropriately registered, distributed and prioritised as necessary.

4. Assist the Senior Administrator in maintaining and updating administrative procedures and functions
within the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Department. The provision of Scanning, Typing/Word
processing/faxing and photocopying support to the team.
