**Key responsibilities will be**:

- Responsible for the overall management of finance
- Ensure client information is kept up-to-date
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Compiling payroll information on a monthly basis
- Assist with the arbitration and reconciliation procedures
- Identify and implement further opportunities for business growth, services, and process improvements.
- Monitor credit provided to clients, ensuring the implementation of practices to reduce debtor days
- Provide financial reports to assist with shaping company policy and financial planning.

**The Experience, Skills & Behaviours we need from our Accounts Clerk**:

- Visionary in promoting modernisation and efficacy in the workplace
- Enthusiasm and ability to work both independently and co-operatively (essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills (essential) with experience managing people (preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/accounts-based role or similar (preferred)
- Relevant professional certification (AAT or similar) (preferred)
- Previous experience in client relationship management desirable. (preferred)
- Support the development and implementation of an ongoing financial planning process.
- Experience within the security sector is desirable (preferred)
- Demonstrable administration, organisation and planning skills (essential)
- Competency in common software - Microsoft Office package & Xero (essential)
