The Student Education Service brings colleagues from central teamstogether with colleagues from faculties and schools into a single integrated service.

As an Administrative Assistant your main duties will include:

- Supporting the introduction of a new appointment booking and record keeping Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, assisting with the planning and integration stages as well as utilising it once it is installed;
- Processing incoming service self-referrals and requests for support;
- Appointment booking and administrative support including waiting list monitoring and management;
- Managing staff and service Outlook Calendars and online information systems;
- Ensuring that the enquiry and reception activities are conducted with the utmost confidentiality and within the rules of GDPR, and that safeguards are maintained to protect this;
- Liaising with all Student Counselling and Wellbeing staff, working flexibly across two reception sites on campus;
- Assisting with the planning, organisation and evaluation of various internal and external events, including training, planning days and the workshop programme;
- Maintaining up-to-date service information and promotional materials, hard copy and digital;
- Managing the dissemination of resources and information in-service and University-wide;
- Providing an efficient and effective administration of all service meetings including booking venues and catering, distributing papers, taking accurate minutes, and setting up any meeting room equipment as necessary;

- Excellent planning, organisation and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work;
