About the opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a Disability Coach to join our growing Everton in the Community disability team.

The Disability Coach will implement and deliver a range of varied disability development projects, including, school projects, the creation of disability teams, session support within Alder Hey and wider community sessions across Merseyside.
- Other key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver sports specific and multisport sessions for disabled children and adults at various locations across Merseyside.-
- Liaise with hospital staff to deliver fun activity workshops within Alder Hey hospital-
- Liaise with local partners such as County FA and schools to develop after school’s clubs for disabled children across the Merseyside area.-
- Develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation processes to capture data and case studies for reports in line with funding requirements-
- Have an understanding of equality/diversity and social inclusion in the delivery of disability coaching sessions.-
- Traveling independently to reach various sites across the Liverpool City Region to attend sessions and meetings including at times working evening and weekends.- Safeguarding_- To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
- To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.- Who we are looking for: We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated with a genuine passion for inclusion and social interaction opportunities for isolated groups, and who has the ability to build trust and rapport quickly, enjoying interacting with a wide variety of people on a daily basis

Other key Knowledge and Skills will include:
- Multi-sport qualification-
- Level 2 governing body coaching award.-
- Be registered with the Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to undertake a full Enhanced DBS check-
- Specific knowledge of various impairments and disability groups-
- Ability to adapt to meet the needs of different groups-
- Experience of delivering multi-sport coaching sessions with various impairments groups, for children and adults-
- Experience of delivering schools and after school’s clubs with disabled children of all ages and abilitiesThe core hours for this role will be 35 hours per week
- This opportunity will be offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term basis
