Davencroft is an independent British Cosmetics House producing specialist products that include candles, fine fragrance and remedy ranges. The company is experiencing significant expansion and we now have a new created opportunity in our Support & Services department.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:To create and liaise with planners to create a production plan against budget. To ensure that components come in on time in full to meet the demand of the production plan. To negotiate on pricing (buying in bulk) where possible in order to cut costs on componentry. To Liaise with internal operations to ensure production is planned effectively and efficiently.

**TASKS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
**Core responsibilities**
- Ensure the team create a logical and accurate production plan against budget.
- Ensure all orders are placed against all supplier demand generated from the database.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders are filled in correctly and any updated delivery date is recorded
- Check orders before their due dates to ensure that they will still be arriving on their agreed dates
- Ensure all componentry is on site and ready to use within the agreed time slots. This is currently one week before its production slot
- Consolidate component demand within reason, to negotiate on bulk purchases and improve cash flow
- Ensure Goods in diary is kept up to date with all information needed
- Making sure transport is booked for intercompany logistics
- Ensure over stocking does not occur by checking the MRP plan daily and liaising with the long term planner

**Communication**
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the production plan can be met
- Communicate effectively with all external suppliers to reduce price where possible and ensure components are delivered in time.
- Liaise with the China Office on a daily basis to ensure that components meet the scheduled production plan

**Team & Training**
- You will be open to new training that the company can provide
- To highlight any interests and or training you require to do your job as per the specification set out by the Head of SAS
- Reviewing your performance daily, looking to improve and suggest improvements in order to increase efficiencies across site

**Health & Safety**
- Maintain good and safe working standards
- Report any breaches of health and safety to the Head of SAS

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:

- Able to work on your own and as a team member.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management and planning skills.
- Ability to solve supply problems.
- Good excel working knowledge
