Aftermarket Sales Leader

The **Aftermarkets Sales Leader** is responsible for driving **Service and Consumables business development**, providing direction and support to the Sales and Service Teams in the UK & Ireland, BeNeLux and Nordics.

Owns key accountability for driving growth through **selling service agreements, consumables, and promoting the entire service portfolio.**

**Develops and manages the team** (currently 8 people) in the assigned territory, supporting them with sales opportunities, key projects and their development within their roles.

**Delivers a positive customer experience** through the negotiation cycle by working closely with internal stakeholders such as marketing, pricing, product management, sales and service teams.

**Works with Instrument Sales team to support tender responses** through service and consumable packages.

**Proactively looks for market trends** in competitor pricing/strategy and works with Service Delivery/Contracts Management/Regional Managing Director to ensure our offerings are positioned appropriately.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Accountable for the Region sales strategy and execution and region Sales P&L
- Provides regular reports and analysis to stakeholders
- Is a role-model for professional behaviours, focusing on continuous development and the achievement of bold corporate goals.
- Fosters active collaboration and positive communication between teams, challenging them to deliver constant value to internal and external customers. Provides guidance and approvals where business escalation is required.
- Generates a solid professional network within the organization and with key customers at national and international level.

**Qualifications and Competencies required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in science or higher with a minimum of 3 years sales or service experience
- Proven sales skills
- Previous team management experience preferred
- Strong customer service ethic
- Strong analytical skills - competent in Excel, Spotfire or similar
- Result oriented: combination of a high level of independence but also being able to be part of a sales team.
- Ability to perform in a complex matrix organizational structure, being able to effectively influence across functional boundaries.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be applied both inside and outside the company
- Active agent for team motivation
- Proficient in English
- Valid driving license
- Prepared to travel across the territory on an ad hoc basis (About 1 week per quarter)
