**Working Hours**: 42; Monday to Friday: 08:00- 17:30 and alternate Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00
**Salary**: £44,800 OTE (including up to £40,000 basic plus bonus)

An exciting opportunity has become available here at Chester Nissan as we look to fill our Workshop Controller post.
It is the perfect opportunity for an individual within the Automotive industry to advance their career with a world-renowned brand like Nissan. As a Workshop Controller, you will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices and pro-actively review and prioritise their daily workload.
As a Workshop Controller you will play a crucial part in our business and the Aftersales Department, reporting into our Aftersales Manager Claire Andrews, who will provide you with ongoing support to ensure that you have the tools needed to perform to the very best of your ability Furthermore, you will also be put through brand specific training which will enable you to progress within the Nissan brand and also the Automotive industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety and OEM policy
- Making sure all service work is carried out correctly, competently, on time and with customer satisfaction in mind
- Maintain relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and provide support to Technicians during repairs to ensure that high standards are achieved and maintained within the workshop
- Liaising with colleagues and other departments to ensure a top-quality service for customers
- Scheduling work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, the complexity of each job and the availability of parts
- Assisting with technical challenges by going above and beyond to support the team and also writing technical reports

Qualifications:
It is essential that you have sufficient experience working within a Dealership environment. This could be the perfect role for a Service Advisor looking to move into a more senior role within the Dealership, or for a current Workshop Controller looking to make that move to join one of the Top 3 Automotive Retailers in the UK.
