Exhibition Assistant

Immersive Experiences is back exhibiting at New Scientist Live

Featuring our planetariums, cinema domes, virtual reality, stem games and cosmic shop

You will form part of our team assisting all elements of the exhibitons between Oct 7-9 2023, as well as some extra paid days before the show, typically 3 days beforehand to help set up

Experience with customer service ideal, and a positive approach to talking with customers and helping them enjoy our stand

Training provided on workshops, runnng the planetarium the day before the event or morning of the event, plus we will have a zoom meeting beforehand for any questions

Areas to support
- Planetarium Theatre shows, running films on a windows laptop or mac laptop
- Running VR sessions
- Running hands on science workshops
- Helping customers in and out the cinema
- Working in the gift shop, using the till and terminal machines
- Handing our brochures and pointing customers to the rest of the team for any questions
- Ability to lift up to 25kg for setting up, and keeping place tidy throughout the show

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 3 days
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: £7.50-£10.50 per hour
