Responsibilities

This role will involve working closely with the Head of Marketing and Founders to devise an exciting exhibitions and events marketing strategy and implement it. It will include planning, organising and delivering an annual calendar of relevant exhibitions, and events to build our brand presence in our target market, generate leads and have a tangible ROI.

We’re looking for someone with a real passion and expertise for IRL events who can join us and make an immediate impact with their knowledge and skill set.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Planning a robust annual calendar of developer & property exhibitions and events
  • Negotiating exhibition bookings, project management and logistics
  • Exhibition stand production and delivery (alongside 3rd party suppliers)
  • Creating associated exhibition marketing (advertising, follow-ups, exhibition offers, merchandise)
  • Organising and securing speaking slots and panel discussions
  • Organising and securing podcast and webinar slots for founders
  • Exploring opportunities to host networking, breakfast briefing and roundtable-style events.
  • Assisting Partnerships Manager with ad hoc digital events such as webinars and podcasts
  • Assisting with company networking events
  • Hit the ground running and guide us on our exhibition journey

Essentials

  • Proven experience organising, project managing and delivering exhibitions and events
  • Preferably a background in the development and property sector
  • A sound and trusted understanding of property, development and construction events in the UK
  • A black book of events and exhibition contacts (trusted suppliers, event organisers and event partners)
  • Understanding event metrics and analysing event performance
  • Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot

Desired

  • Previous experience with SAAS companies
  • Eye for design and exhibition trends
  • Experience with organising podcasts, webinars and social networking events
Our interview process
  • Examples of previous exhibition work - including stand designs and pre and post-marketing collateral
  • Test task to show how you would tackle a Searchland exhibition
  • Interview with founder(s)
