We are looking for a Cash & Banking Supervisor to join our team in either Paisley (UK) or Budapest (HU), to lead and take ownership of the Cash & Banking accounting activities. This role furthermore will assume the position of a business partner to the Corporate Treasury team, as well as that of knowledge leader in Cash & Banking processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly cash & banking close activities
- Review and approve cash & banking accounting entries. Evaluate entries for completeness and accuracy
- Review and approve bank and cashpool balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the team in researching and resolving any reconciliation items on a monthly basis
- Partner with Corporate Treasury team
- Become a knowledge leader in accounting of Treasury WSS systems
- Perform variance analysis including current-to-prior month/quarter/year fluctuations
- Cash clearing account management in conjunction with the Accounts payable and operational accounting teams
- Maintaining documentation of policies, procedures and controls. Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting policies, procedures and controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
- Being the key cash & banking point of contact for external and internal auditors as well as for internal teams companywide
- Undertake special projects from time to time

**Skills Required**:

- Accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the role
- High level of proactivity to drive continuous process improvement
- Strong Cash & Banking accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organisation
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Team lead experience and ability to manage team activities
- Demonstrated process excellence and organisational skills
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritise and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment
- Working knowledge of ERPs (E1 and SAP) desired but not essential
- Working knowledge of US GAAP desired but not essential***

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA) or equally qualified by experience
- Prior experience within Cash & Banking, Accounting, Finance, AP/AR, or other relevant
