Allstaff Office Services Division have partnered with our charitable client based in Paisley, who are looking for a finance officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Duties of this role include:

- Ensure daily adherence to financial processes & continuously enhance and update procedures, as necessary.
- Use Sage 50 accounting software to record all income and expenditure transactions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for all services, including bank accounts and petty cash.
- Prepare reports related to sales income, purchase ledger, and other financial aspects.
- Process transactions using SAGE Line 50 accounts professional software.
- Ensure bank accounts, services petty cash, and prepaid card accounts are balanced monthly.
- Check fundraising donations and prepare paperwork for weekly banking.
- Manage customer invoices, service level agreement schedules, and related paperwork.
- Communicate with clients (credit control), suppliers, and banking contacts, as necessary.
- Prepare schedules, statements, and reports as requested by the Financial Controller and Senior Finance Officer.
- Manage staff expenses and mileage claims, ensuring timely processing of payments.

This role has a Hybrid working model (Paisley office 1 day per week preferable a Wednesday and home based). Our client will consider those looking for between 25-36 hours per week, this can be over 4 days. This role has a pay rate of £12.49 - £13.65 per hour depending on experience.
