The clozapine clinic is a service run to ensure the following aims:

- to promote safety, concordance, physical health and to reduce the risks that are associated with taking clozapine
- To ensure service users physical health is regularly monitored alongside side effect monitoring
- To manage, in conjunction with the Clozaril Patient Monitoring Service (CPMS) and pharmacy that the blood testing and monitoring to enable a continued supply of clozapine for service users initiated/already established on clozapine.
- To provide a specialist comprehensive and supportive service to the wider multidisciplinary teams to support service users who are prescribed clozapine within the Trust.
- To offer safer administration and monitoring of olanzapine depots in line with existing Trust Policy
