We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash Collector to join The London Clinic, based at our Head Office site in London (NW1-4LJ) on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract. We are offering a competitive inclusive salary starting at £32,000 per annum.
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two mínimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include, General surgery; ENT; Gynaecology; Hepatobiliary; Neuro-spinal; Ophthalmic; Orthopaedic; Plastic and reconstructive; Robotic; Urology; Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).
**Job Profile**
As a Cash Collector you will manage a range of duties relating to cash management and Credit Control within the Billing and Accounts Receivable team whilst engaging with, supporting and partnering with Private Medical Insurers. As a Cash collector you shall manage a portfolio of accounts in order to ensure cash collection is met. You will seek to maintain and strengthen relationships with internal customers, as well as external customers and provide support to the Cash Collections Team Leader, and provide reports where necessary in line with Credit Control requirements.
- Job Type: This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term position working 37.5 hours per week.
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday with core hours being 9am - 5.30pm.
- Job Location: Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
- Salary: The attractive inclusive salary for this role is starting at £32,000 per annum.

**Key Duties**
- Ensure delivery of targeted DSO and cash collection targets, keeping debts to a minimum, whilst managing a high value, high volume portfolio across different payor groups.
- Ensuring accurate and timely cash posting, ensuring end of day reconciliation is completed.
- Provision of aged debtor reporting to the HoS, including DSO.
- Build and maintain key relationships with all major stakeholders, including Private Medical Insurers.
- Ensure accurate AR data maintenance for assigned portfolio.
- Monitor and identify unidentified cash for relevant payors.
**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in the health care sector/medical insurance desirable
- Advanced excel skills and general IT skills
- CICM qualification (part or full) desirable
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to manage large volume workloads
