Global Markets has the scale and reach to conduct business anywhere in the world and deliver products denominated in almost all of the world’s currencies. Its global network comprises more than 1,700 professionals working on our six main trading floors in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo. They are supported by regional offices throughout Europe, the Americas, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Macro is one of the Global Business Lines of Global Markets focusing on FX, interest rates and commodities for these clients.

**Job Purpose**

The IRFX Solutions Salesperson’s mission is to support the IRFX Solutions team in serving our corporate clients, identifying strategic risk management opportunities, increasing revenue to grow the bank’s solutions SoW and contributing to the creation of new, innovative ideas.

The salesperson will share three common objectives to:

- be the first-choice bank for IRFX risk management flow and solutions with the clients in the UK;
- maximise both flow and solutions revenue from the client to grow our IRFX SoW; and
- uphold the highest standards of conduct to protect bank.

These common objectives will be complemented by more specific objectives for the IRFX Solutions business and personal career development goals set as part of the annual appraisal process.

In order to meet these objectives, the IRFX Solutions Salesperson will be required to work closely and collaboratively with macro colleagues.

**Core accountabilities of role**

Operating under the close supervision of manager:

- Solutions marketing: Support the development of strategic client relationships, promote BNPP’s solutions capabilities/services and anticipate their situation-driven requirements;
- Strategic insight: Support the creation and delivery of high-quality risk management insight based on knowledge of market data/themes and individual clients’ requirements;
- Market intelligence: Provide market/industry intelligence, strategic content and trade ideas relevant for the client;
- Origination: Help senior colleagues to identify strategic risk management opportunities externally with clients and internally by leveraging Global Banking’s pipeline and origination capacity;
- Execution: Deliver cross-asset execution excellence and maintain high standards of client service;
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with the Corporate IRFX MAST/Macro teams and liaise with other relevant stakeholders (Structuring, DCM, Coverage, M&A etc.);
- Transparency: Maintain open communication with the team and stakeholders;
- Risk awareness: Exhibit and foster a responsible attitude towards risk (market, counterparty, operational, legal, compliance, regulatory, reputation) and relationships with functions;
- Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of conduct and contribute to the operational and permanent control framework;
- Events: Support the organisation of client events and road shows.
- Training: Develop a good understanding of the relevant products, tools and the market through a combination of formal training and practical experience

- Demonstrable experience in marketing and/or advising on FX and interest rate risk management solutions to corporate clients preferred
- Proven track record of supporting senior colleagues and contributing to a team’s overall objectives
