**Who we are looking for**:
A Supplier Relationship Officer, who will be involved in all aspects of supplier engagement and their ongoing performance management.

You will act as a central point of expertise within the business for supplier relationship management, understanding requirements, and co-ordinating tasks to ensure the continuous monitoring of supplier performance in line with Company policy and procedures.

You will ensure the contract renewal process for our critical and high-risk suppliers is initiated in a timely manner, allowing for a full review or renegotiation of terms, conditions and commercials.

The successful applicant will facilitate supplier reviews, whilst building and developing our engagement and visibility with internal customers and stakeholders.

You will initiate benchmarking activity to ensure we have value for money (VFM) across our preferred supplier base, proposing and overseeing tender activity if, and when required.

As part of this role, you will work closely with management to develop processes that support the ongoing monitoring of suppliers and their performance.

**Preferred skills and experience**:

- Experience of building effective working relationships across all levels of the business and the ability to work with people across all functions and levels of an organisation.- Experience working in a procurement function with demonstrable experience in supplier management and the ability to negotiate in various styles depending on the audience.- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.- CIPs qualified at level 3 or above, or similar workplace experience.- Experience in developing reports and analysing data.- Ability to work under independently, whilst also being a team player.- Highly efficient in meeting deadlines and managing job prioritisation, with a proactive approach to workloads and changing environments with a very high level of attention to detail.- Strong process, planning and delivery skills.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Read more

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing completed due diligence to mitigate supply chain risk, whilst maintaining the Preferred Supplier list, to support the monitoring of supplier performance as well as identifying supplier types.- Coordinating suitable Framework Agreements, improving supplier performance and enhancing the company buying power, whilst supporting negotiations with suppliers in a structured manner to mitigate risk and achieve VFM.- Working with critical and high-risk suppliers and service owners, to gather information in relation to supplier issues in preparation for review, including feedback relating to demand, quality, quantity, cost and delivery.- Negotiating and agreeing appropriate performance criteria for each supplier, ensuring supplier key performance indicators (KPI) are manageable, measurable and obtainable to support the Business.- Identifying and confirming service owners and end product users throughout the business for new categories as the department grows, recording experiences and customer satisfaction levels.- Reviewing and auditing existing suppliers ensuring the commercials support the Business, and the service level agreements and KPI’s are reflected accurately whilst ensuring they meet regulatory standards.- Coordinating the activity required for the progression of tender review process, including Invitation to Tender (ITT), analysis, through to contract.- Benchmarking and planning to support continuous VFM.- Acting as a central point of expertise within the business in relation to commercial nuances to ensure that the procurement and supplier management process is conducted properly, in line with Company policy and legislation.- Supporting the Supplier Relationship Manager in progressing the procurement on boarding and due diligence strategy across the Business and providing assistance and resource to other members of the team when required.Read more
