**Job summary**:
The Judicial Greffe’s Protection Division provides administrative support to the Royal Court of Jersey. We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time administrator or personal assistant to join our friendly and growing team as a Protection and LPA Officer. Officers have a key role in providing a wide range of administration services to a high quality.

The Protection Division has a wide-ranging role, which includes the appointment of Delegates to support individuals who have been assessed as lacking capacity to make decisions for themselves
- the result of an illness or accident - and the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorneys for people who have capacity to choose who they would like to make decisions for them when they cannot.

About you - essential requirements
- A strong academic background, which must include English to a good standard.
- At least 5 years' work experience in a senior secretarial or administrative role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software.
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative, be proactive, accurate and well organised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to build relationships and to work as part of a small team.
