Support Worker - Mental Heath
- Up to £10.00 p/h + holiday pay + pension contribution + benefits_
Here at BS Social Care we work around your commitments and your flexibility to get you the work you want We're working with a care organisation that want to offer independence to individuals with various mental health and learning disabilities.
Your role will be supporting individuals with mental health diagnosis's and will have the opportunity to support individuals alongside permanent staff AND/OR on a 1:1 basis within the individual(s) depending on the service. Working with agency also offers the opportunity to experience various avenues of care and increase your experience and opportunities.
The role offers the following:
- You can interact with service users and their hobbies whilst on shift (for example, fishing, football, cycling)
- All services have petty cash (if you go out and about for lunch, catch the bus, go to a café then costs are covered up to a certain amount)
- Plenty of overtime
- Opportunities to progress, gain qualifications
- Open door policy - there is always someone to talk, whether it is to do with work or home life
- Supervisions can be provided on a monthly basis
- Monthly team meetings to discuss services and any concerns
For this role, ideally you will be a driver and access to you own vehicle is preferable, however not essential. This role offers a mixture of shifts including AM's, PM's and sleeps.
A DBS on the update service is a great advantage but not a requirement.
