**Shift Pattern**: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 15:00 (30 hrs per week)

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Managing telephone calls some of which may be of a confidential or sensitive nature, from schools, parents, health professionals and other agencies.
- Recording and relaying messages.
- Providing non-clinical information and sign posting.
- General IT work (file management, word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, supporting staff with clinical recording systems).
- Filing, mostly electronic and but some paper filing.
- Office systems organisation eg. Booking clinic appointments.
**The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.**
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- EMIS or any other EPR system
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
**This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years administration experience.**
