Applications are invited for a Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) post in Trauma & Orthopaedics with an anticipated start date of 7th August 202. This post is for one year initially but with scope to extend by a further 12 months.

The post is full time, 10 sessions per week, compromising of 50% teaching and 50% clinical time. Any out of hours work will be paid at a suppliment as agreed by the Clinical Board.

The postholder will work at both the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) and University Hospital Llandough (UHL).

This post offers an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking doctor with a strong interest in medical education and support may be available to pursue a postgraduate medical education based qualification

Teaching is a major component of the role and the successful postholder will work closely with the Department of Medical Education, Specialty Lead and undergraduate tutors to deliver evidence based undergraduate education to Cardiff University School of Medicine medical students following the C21 curriculum. The postholder will also benefit from having an honorary contract with Cardiff University with the title Honorary Lecturer.
