The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board offers a unique opportunity for post FRCS (Orth) trainees to gain focused training in Orthopaedic-Trauma. As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will have the chance to develop your skills in trauma management, working alongside 16 consultant surgeons who are part of the trauma service.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise, with independent operating sessions available, as well as supervised sessions. You will be based at the University Hospital of Wales, which provides tertiary referral services for spinal trauma, pelvic and acetabular trauma, and complex limb trauma.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will have access to dedicated research sessions in trauma, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge research in this field.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide middle-grade cover for clinical sessions and be on call for trauma during the day. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are looking for talented individuals who share our values.
