Job Introduction
We are looking for a Residential Worker to join our team

**About The Alders**:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in a Children's Home provision based in Tamworth. The Alders is a large residential home which will provide short to medium term residential support for up to 4 young people aged between 12-17 years.
During this period support will be provided to the family/foster carer and the young person to build the relationship up to enable them to return to the care of their family or foster carer. If the plan is for long term residential staff will support the young person’s transition to their new home.

Main Responsibilities
We need a committed, vibrant, and highly motivated Residential Worker to support young people in all areas of their lives. The role can be both challenging and rewarding and will require a high level of resilience and flexibility to be able to respond to the needs of the service.

You'll be involving the young people in daily activities, getting to know them as individuals so you can best support their needs and really creating an environment where our young people can flourish and achieve their potential.

To this role you'll bring:

- Experience in working with children and young people and even better if this is in a residential setting already
- An NVQ/QCF level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is desirable but not essential
- A full driving licence

So, if you feel you have the skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you
