**Pay Rate**:£21.09 per hour (assignment rate)

**Main Duties**:

- Responsible for the provision of a high quality Specialist Speech and Language Therapy service to pre-school / school age children with a range of complex communication difficulties
- Planning and prioritizing own caseload that will involve working with children who have a range of complex communication disorders and associated medical and developmental difficulties
- The post will require working closely and effectively with Multi-Disciplinary and Multi-Agency Teams, Health & Social Care and Education and liaising closely with parents and carers.

**Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT**:

- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
- Completion of a range of post graduate courses in specific clinical areas relevant to the post such as Hanen, Derbyshire LS, Makaton, PECS
