**The Role**

To assist the Company Security Controller and Deputy Security Controller in managing ADSs process for sponsoring Security Clearances for staff and member companies, including aftercare requirements and invoicing.

As a Security Vetting Administrator for ADS, youll play a crucial part in assisting members by processing requests for national security vetting. Youll also assist in delivering training, guidance, and governance to our member companies.

Youll join part of an expanding team in the ADS Security Vetting Team and assist in administering the day-to-day operations with support from the ADS Security Vetting Team and ADS Security Controller. The National Security Vetting machinery is changing, and the job holder will also support in implementing changes necessary and help shape our offer to members going forward.

This full-time role presents a great opportunity to work in a vital business function for ADS, that supports across all our sectors. There will be an opportunity to focus on customer service and liaise with key figures across member companies and in government. The role sits within the Security and Resilience Sector in ADS, where you will work with a close-knit team and have an opportunity to shape your role and develop your career in a fascinating sector.

The role reports to the ADS Deputy Security Controller.

**The Skills & Competencies**
- Qualifications_
- Mandatory: UK citizen, with the last 5 years residency in the UK with ability to gain security clearance at Security Check (SC) level.
- Personal qualities_
- Self-motivated individual who is able to work independently.
- Confident and clear communicator.
- Customer service focused, particularly through timely delivery of functions.
- Attention to detail, methodological and organised.
- Competencies_
- Excellent coordination and organisation skills.
- Able to prioritise competing demands.
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
- Skills, knowledge and experience_
- Experience in an office-based administration/coordination role.
- Experience in dealing with personal and sensitive information.
- Experience in dealing with high volume requests.
- Experience in customer service.
- Proficient user of standard Microsoft Office products (training will be provided for the in-house database).
- _Desirable:_ understanding of UK national security vetting regime.

**Contract & Benefits**

Salary; £29,400 per annum, depending on experience

Contract; Permanent, fulltime role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Location; Hybrid working
- 3 days in the Farnborough office and 2 days from home
