**IT Infrastructure and Security Lead**:
**Location: Farnborough (Office based)**

**What you'll do**

The IT Infrastructure and Security Lead will be part of a Secure Operations team and will support the IT Systems Lead with defining strategic roadmaps for the IT infrastructure and Security function across a wide range of environments ranging from a private cloud solution to highly secure air-gapped networks

**What will you be doing?**
- You will work closely with the ICT Architect to ensure infrastructure design documentation informs & guides project delivery & through life management
- Produce documentation & reports to support the IT Infrastructure & Security function
- Act as a point of technical escalation for IT Systems Administrators & Analysts
- Define the Technology Stack to enhance security, DR and general BAU support for both production and pre-prod environments
- Work with department stakeholders such as PMO, NOC, SOC and network delivery teams to support the IT function and associated through life management to support seamless integration between Operational Support & Business Support systems

**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience in design & deployment of secure on-premise technology solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of managing an enterprise infrastructure environment
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure sizing and capacity planning
- Experience of using and defining infrastructure automation
- Strong working knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware) and SAN environments (EMC).
- Experience working with Linux & Windows Server
- A thorough understanding of core IT and security principles.

**Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance**
