Cloud Engineer – Azure
£45-£60k+ benefit
Berkshire offices' + flexible Hybrid working
A growing Software product business requires an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a Cloud product team utilising Microsoft technology. The Azure Cloud Engineer will join an experienced team in improving DevOps adoption and cloud deployments in an Azure-based architecture. The team is growing and can support upskilling and progression opportunities.
Previous commercial experience in a DevOps environment is required but the business will consider those from software or infrastructure backgrounds who have strong Azure skills and coding experience.
The business offers 3-4 days WFH per week with offices commutable from Farnborough, Reading, Guildford, Woking areas.
Responsibilities and include:
- Work closely with an experienced Microsoft product development team
- Working alongside the DevOps Lead to improve Azure cloud product deployments
- Improve and implement Azure DevOps processes as the product and team grows
- Write code as required – with guidance from senior developers if required
- Implement CI/CD processes
Essential experience:
- Commercial Azure experience and knowledge of associated Azure functionality
- Commercial experience in a DevOps environment
- A software development background is preferred– ability to write code in C#, Python, etc
- Experience of Agile, SCRUM processes
- A keen interest in growing your skills and learning from an experienced team
- An excellent communicator - the ability to liaise with all areas of the business
