- West Yorkshire Police as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Scientific Support Services (RSSS) is looking to recruit a Forensic Assessment Officer. The successful applicant will be based at Calder Park, Wakefield during all training with scope to work from home during part of the week when fully trained.
- This is an exciting and challenging role working with Police Officers on live criminal investigations. The main purpose of this role is to carry out an evaluation and authorisation service for forensic requests submitted by Police Officers, to develop forensic submission strategies ensuring compliance with all regulatory, quality, and legislative requirements. You will be responsible for taking into consideration potential evidential value, forensic viability, limitations, and sequential examination processes to ensure the most effective use of the forensic budget to maximise forensic opportunities.
