To work closely with the Academic Lead for Medical Undergraduate Assessment
Delivery and the Assessment Team for Undergraduate Medicine.

Lead the school MLA AKT process with the support of the Academic Lead for
Medical Undergraduate Assessment Delivery liaising with the GMC and MSC where
required.

Responsible for the operational management and effective implementation of the
year 3,4&5 Knowledge assessments

Plan, develop and implement the delivery of Knowledge assessments in years
3,4&5

Contribute to assessment question writing

Lead on Knowledge examinations: emendation, assessment criteria, external
examiner contributions and examination marking.

Chair assessment meetings: emendation, standard setting, progress panels

Contribute to examination boards and progress decisions.

Contribute to teaching on the MBChB programme

Supporting the Undergraduate Programme Lead in the continuous development of
school specific strategies and plans.

Attend the Medical Schools Council Assessment Alliance when required
contributing to subsequent assessment training activities within the School.
