**Job Title**:Quality Specialist
**Location**:Port Sunlight Factories
**JOB PURPOSE**
**Do you want to achieve ZERO Quality Defects at Port Sunlight?**
The person we are looking for has a passion for Quality. They understand the Cost that Quality brings to the organisation, both through Quality Control and Non-Conformance. This person will be the first point of contact for the Factory Operations teams. They will deal with reactive day to day issues, but will also spend time striving for Zero Defects through the implementation of Poka Yoke countermeasures. This role reports to the Homecare Quality Operational Leader.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Weekly and Monthly Quality reporting to the factories
- Leading the Quality update at the weekly factory operational meetings
- Carrying out Quality Emergency Work Orders (Q-EWOs) together with operational leaders
- Leading root cause analysis for Quality incidents including 4M analysis, 5W1H, Why Why, 5 Questions for Zero tools
- Completing the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle for all Quality incidents
- Coordinating Quality elements of factory trials
- Blocking stock at warehouses when necessary
- Managing blocked stock at warehouses to ensure stock is not stored for more than 4 weeks
- Communicating any incident updates or concession requests to our Quality counterparts in countries across the world
- Carrying out inbound sampling (checking Certificates of Analysis from our suppliers)
- Recording all Quality incidents in Airsweb
- Maintaining Freeweigh (weights recording) system and ensuring legal compliance through weekly reporting
- Ensuring all procedures are kept up to date within Quality Management System (QMS)
- Complete SAP QM tasks for any new products introduced to the factory
- Updating Quality Scorecards on line/ factory noticeboards
- Monitoring consumer complaints and addressing top losses using kaizen methodology
- Collecting, storing and clearing product retention samples
- Carrying out Quality training within factories to operational employees
- Acting as a business partner to the Factory Operations Managers; helping them to understand what will drive incidents down in their factories

**Skills - Preferable**
- SAP experience
- Risk Management experience
- Experience with Quality systems - ISO9001 or other
