Our Resource Planning team at Canon UK are responsible for working with our Field Based Engineers to attend our customer sites to resolve Canon printer incidents within agreed SLA's. This involves working with multiple systems, liaising with various departments and providing a high level of customer service to both internal & external teams.
- As our Resource Planner, your key responsibilities and tasks are:
- Monitors the automated planning for the field. Ensures that request for service is planned /scheduled in order to meet customer service level agreements.
- Works with the field and Service Management to ensure resource is allocated to accommodate field operational needs.
- Carries outcall dispatch and book off when required and corrects mistakes in visit reporting, ensuring the integrity of the data.
- Monitors work to outside suppliers and TPM (Third Party Maintenance) organizations.
- Escalates problem calls, missed SLAs or reporting issues as defined in the procedures.
- Inform the customer, when appropriate and requested, regarding the status of the request.
- Proactively inform the customer if contracted response time is to be exceeded Carry out system housekeeping ensuring that all jobs and engineers are correctly allocated Proactive planning of maintenance, modifications, ORS/eMaintenance connections, firmware updates and related activities.
- Maximise the engineer utilisation to ensure efficiency of the workforce and escalate any concerns to Service Management.
