The Health Captains programme is an initiative that aims to utilise the skills and experience of volunteers to support people through their health and care journey. Our team work alongside the NHS, Adult social care and voluntary sector partners to support individuals to access health care services or manage their recovery and condition.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as Volunteer Coordinator to engage and inspire existing and new volunteers to provide vital support to individuals on their healthcare journey. The post-holder will oversee the recruitment, supervision and management of volunteers and ensure they are able to contribute fully to the work of the programme. The post holder will have a cohort of direct volunteers, in addition to working with other organisations to support volunteers into their programmes.
