Sales Administrator

Credit Control Responsibilities:
- Handle credit control duties, including but not limited to contacting customers for payment reminders, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate records of customer communications.
- Assist in processing sales and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Assist with reconciling sales and purchase ledgers, investigating discrepancies, and making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to gather data and help prepare reports for the Directors, providing valuable insights into credit control and financial performance.
- Accurately enter data into the Opera 3 system, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible for further analysis.
- Conduct research on existing customers, understanding their payment patterns, and identifying any potential credit risks.

- Rates of pay between £15.40 and £16.80 per hours
- Hours are 8:00 AM - 16:45 PM
- 37 hours per week
- Temporary
- 20 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday
**Requirements**:
- A courteous and professional phone manner is essential as you will be responsible for answering phones and communicating with customers.
- Prior experience in credit control or a related financial role is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle customer payment inquiries effectively.
- While knowledge of the Opera 3 system is preferred, it is not essential.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good numerical and analytical skills are required for sales and purchase ledger reconciliations and report preparation.
- An eye for detail is critical to ensure accurate data entry and precise credit control management.
- A proactive approach to conducting research on customers and market trends
- Experience within the Tool industry would be an advantage
