**Apprentice - Project Controller**

Main purpose of the job:
Is directly accountable to the Project Controller for the related customer(s) at a core functional level for the successful financial status of all relevant programmes ensuring all agreed / IAC's company standard metrics are achieved.

To support the Project Controller, in auditing, analysing data and month end activities.

Main missions and results:

- Updating of control books and packs. Preparation of accruals.
- Preparation of accruals.
- Help with the maintenance of the Project Data Base
- Have an awareness of the review and analysis of department cost centre.
- Support with financially auditing of projects.
- Understand the process and support the setting up of New Project requirements.
- Helping with Cash Management and aged debt reporting.
- Helping close Projects.
- Helping with year end audit requirements.

- Business Management - UK and Europe
- Finance - UK and Dusseldorf
- UK Engineering
- European Engineering
- European Plant Finance Teams

Preferred Skills and Experience:
As part of the apprenticeship program, you will be required to study towards Level 3 Assistant Accounting qualification in line with Apprenticeship standards.
- GCSE level C and above for English & Mathematics.
- Keen interest in finance and financial concepts.
- Ability on own initiative and be self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills (including working knowledge of PowerPoint)
- Proactive Approach.
- Flexible approach to work and projects.
- Adaptability to meet deadlines.
- Further business or finance qualifications would be advantageous but not necessary.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sufficient verbal and written language skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders at various levels both internally and externally.
- Eager to learn new systems and processes.
- Adaptability in the location of work including business travel.
- Flexibility to change priorities in response to changing program demands.
