The Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom.

Operating through a number of market leading brands; we design, manufacture and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK and Europe.

We are now seeking a Telesales Account Executive to join our busy team. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager in our Link Lockers Division and you will be based at our Head Office in Telford.

This role is integral to the sales team as you will be responsible for responding to all Sales enquiries in a timely manner, producing quotes and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard to meet customer needs.

**Job Purpose/ Key Responsibilities**

To respond to all sales enquiries and quotes effectively to ensure quick turnaround and completed to meet the customer requirements and needs.
Manage the 'quote' bank of opportunities to maintain contact and follow up to convert opportunities into orders.
Keep in regular contact with designated accounts on a pro-active basis to build customer relationships and establish future needs and opportunities.
Manage inbound calls for the department effectively to deliver good customer experience and provide assistance with all enquiries

**Competencies Required for the Role**

Communication - Clear and precise in dealing with all internal and external enquiries. Respectful and helpful with the ability to question and clarify customer needs.
Customer Focus - Customer service, regular contact and follow up to keep all clients updated and informed.
Team Working - Ability to work in more than one channel or area to assist the department in delivering quotes and following up on opportunities.
Managing information - Ensure correct record keeping and managing of data within company CRM system, maintaining customer contact and regular follow up.
Versatile - Flexible approach in relation to managing projects and day to day duties as required by the business

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**

Experience in dealing with customers directly, either by telephone or face to face.
Comfortable with managing high volumes of calls both inbound and outbound.
Enjoys the challenge of working in a target driven environment.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Numerical with basic maths ability.
Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player.
Self-motivated and driven.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office package(s)
