You will be expected to organise own caseload and work unsupervised in a busy team. You will maintain a high standard of work and prioritise your own workload according to the needs of the service, individual needs including equality, diversity, and social inclusion in all aspects of work.
The role will include providing information to pregnant women and their families about stopping smoking, minimising harm and health related issues to themselves and their baby from tobacco in line with the best and most up to date evidence and guidance
We provide maternity care to over 5,000 women across the county of Gloucestershire. Maternity Services are provided at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Cheltenham Birth Centre, and Stroud Maternity Hospital, as well as in our community areas cross-county.
At the very centre of our organisation is our dedicated nursing, midwifery and care staff, being part of the team here at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a huge privilege and if successful you will be joining over 2,000 nursing, midwifery and care colleagues each committed to delivering great experiences and outcomes for our patients.
