European Operations Administrator

We are currently seeking 3 x European Operations Administrators to join our operations department at Simarco's Stoke depot.
**Position**:
The purpose of this role is to provide a valuable service to the European Operations department in Administrative role. The job involves a lot of structure as you have a number of set tasks to work through on a daily basis which is crucial to the smooth running of the Company.
**Principal Requirements/Responsibilities**:
- Liaising with clients, overseas agents and internal departments.
- Taking bookings from Operations and inputting into the system.
- Checking customer invoices to ensure customs compliance.
- Liaising with Internal Customs Team to raise export paperwork.
- Liaising with overseas customs clearance agents
- Data extraction from third party system.
- Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Charge and costing shipments.
- Resolving issues with Hauliers should the need arise.
**Hours of Work**
Monday - Friday
09:00 - 17:30
1 hour lunch break per day
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience within a similar role desirable
- Experience within a logistics or transport company would be an added advantage
- A reliable individual with good communication skills both written and verbal
- Enjoy working within a team but have good organisational skills to prioritise your own workload
- High level of customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
- Good organisation and ability to work to deadline is essential
- Diligent with a high level of accuracy
- High attention to detail
- Numerate
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- Able to problems solve on own and within a team
