**About Cornwall Mind**

Cornwall Mind was formed by the merger of two smaller Mind organisations in 2020. We are an independent CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) and are aligned with the vision and values of National Mind set out above.

We provide opportunities for recovery from mental ill-health and maintaining wellbeing for the People of Cornwall.

**Wellbeing and Recovery Groups**

Cornwall Mind and its predecessors have run a range of wellbeing services supporting those in the local community that have struggled with their mental health for many years. They have usually been based around an activity such as art, walking, gardening, creative writing. Many of these groups have been long-term offering much needed support to local people with sometimes complex mental health difficulties.

We are developing the service and its reach to cover more areas in Cornwall. The groups offered will range from time limited recovery and resilience groups, longer term volunteer led prevention groups and community cafes. These will be delivered using a blended approach of face to face and online. All groups use the Five Ways to Wellbeing as the core approach to support.

This role is funded through the Integrated Care System and is part of a partnership with:

- Volunteer Cornwall
- CHAOS

**About the Role**

**Aims**

1. Logistical: To coordinate referrals for attendance at Mind wellbeing groups across Cornwall and IOS.

2. Administrative: To be responsible for the completion of all project paperwork.

**Overall Responsibilities**

1. To work with Management Team and Administrator to assess referrals, identify individual interest and match clients to suitable Wellbeing Groups.

2. Work with Mind Wellbeing and Comms staff to ensure all groups are well attended.

3. Develop the initial Recovery Action Plan with participants prior to attendance at the Wellbeing Group.

4. Collect all referral information and wellbeing scores and input in to Lamplight CMS.

**Main Duties**

1. To abide by all company policies and procedures and within legal frameworks e.g. safeguarding.

2. To support the management team in developing new Wellbeing services.

3. To ensure equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion principles are incorporated in the planning, delivery and monitoring of services.

4. To maintain and develop networks, attend key meetings and developing collaborative working opportunities with partner agencies.

5. To promote the work of Cornwall Mind through structured marketing, to include publicising services, promoting new projects, and all collaborative work.

6. Any other duties/tasks commensurate with role as agreed with the Operations Manager and CEO.
