**Medical Records Coordinator**

**Position Summary**

We are currently recruiting an experienced medical administrator for our Expert Medical Opinion department. As our new Medical Records Coordinator you will provide essential administrative assistance in enabling customers to access our range of market leading health and wellbeing services with ease and convenience. The role will require regular travel to Brighton.

**Contract type**:6-monthFixed-term (FTC)
**Annual salary**:£25,000 pa (pro rata)
**Hours of work**:2 days per week (0.4FTE), Thursday and Friday 9am to 5:30pm (30 minutes lunch)
**Work mode**:Hybrid (1 day in the Brighton office)

**Role Responsibilities**

Medical records coordination:

- Liaising with clients regarding patient care and provision of services
- Updating and maintaining accurate customer records on our database, including uploading scans, medical reports and consultancy notes.
- Coordination and collection of medical records from clinics, hospitals and GP surgeries in the UK and Ireland
- Handling incoming physical medical records in a timely and efficient manner in line with company processes.
- Data entry

Report edition and travel health support:

- Gathering, formatting and proofreading a suite of documents at the end of each Expert Medical Opinion case and incorporating them into a presentation pack for patients.
- Carrying country-specific travel health and precautionary measures information research for individual travellers and travel health report edition.

Additional responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to EMO Administration Lead and UK office managers.
- Taking an active role in business-wide projects where appropriate.
- Previous experience in office administration essential.
- Previous experience in maintaining Clinician records desirable.
- Previous experience working in health care provisions services desirable.
- Able to work independently as well as to contribute effectively to the team.
- Excellent Planning and Organisation Skills.
- Excellent communicator - written and verbal.
- Data entry experience preferable.
- Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes, G Suites and ability to adapt to and learn new processes, technology and software packages.
- Analytical ability in order to identify and improve current processes and procedures.
- Keen eye for detail, punctual, organised and empathetic.
- Proactive approach to their work.
- Experience dealing with enquiries via an array of platforms including inhouse office communications (Microsoft Teams).
- Research skills
