We are looking for a Junior Credit Controller for our UK finance team

As a motivated and results-oriented Junior Credit Controller, you will demonstrate a proactive and driven attitude towards managing the company's credit control operations. Your primary focus will be on achieving results by ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments from clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company's financial success and develop your career in credit control.

**What this job involves**:
Assist in monitoring and collecting outstanding payments from clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and collections activities.
Assist in resolving payment discrepancies or disputes and escalate issues when necessary.
Generate regular reports on the status of outstanding balances.
Provide professional and courteous assistance to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
This isn’t a complete list and there may be other responsibilities you take on as required. Don’t worry though as we’ll be reasonable, and you’ll be fully supported We want to help you learn new skills, so if you have the passion to do more then we’ll do our best to help you get there

You’ll be working with lots of data and financial information, so strong numeracy skills and attention to detail is key.
Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to achieve results and meet deadlines.
You’ll be confident and have a desire to develop your skills using Microsoft office programmes like Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
You’ll be careful to ensure processes and best practice are followed correctly and flagging any issues.
You can work with lots of different people and create good, lasting professional relationships.
You’ll enjoy working at a fast pace and adapting to different challenges.
You’ll be sensible and discrete with information to ensure it is kept fully confidential.
You’ll have an understanding and passion to start or continue to build your career in the finance industry.
5 GCSE’s grade 5 or above including English and Maths.
