We are seeking a Digital Design Lead to join our world-class in-house creative team. Beyond democratising creativity, Picsart is defining visual culture and reimagining a generation's relationship with design and how their creativity is expressed. As Digital Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in realizing the Picsart brand expression across our products. We're looking for someone that can work within and expand our brand guidelines to create eye-catching and bold visuals to inform, educate and champion our community about everything that is possible with Picsart.

The role would suit a strong senior looking to step up and develop their leadership capabilities, and take on a role with a large surface area and plenty of say into how to do things.

Although your team will be distributed globally, you should be located within a commutable distance from central London to be able to go into the office as and when needed to collaborate in person.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the brand design strategy within our product. Bringing the Picsart brand to life for our users across web, mobile and app. You will be a "bridge" between Brand and Product design to make sure external and internal in-product visual communication is consistent across channels.
- Hands on design and direction of assets across web and app user-journeys. Think visual storytelling across landing pages, prototypes, hero banners, product features, on-boarding screens, push notifications and tutorials.
- Partner effectively in a cross-functional team: including writers, graphic designers, animators and engineers.
- Be a skilled communicator, articulate ideas both within the team and with stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including Research, Product Design, Monetization & Growth, Marketing and Engineering, to mine relevant user and organizational information to deliver digital design solutions that effectively communicate the value of Picsart.
- Manage key stakeholder expectations and use persuasion to push the boundaries and, if necessary, redirect creative development based on feedback.
- Mentor junior designers and manage freelancers.
- Dig into analytics and initiate user feedback to inform iterative development of your designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive design landscape, and emerging technologies, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Be a standard-bearer for our culture and values.

**Requirements**:

- Agency and/or in-house experience as a Design Lead or Senior Designer looking to step up.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a proven track record of creating diverse and visually compelling designs across web, mobile and app.
- An understanding of accessibility and the art of conversion. You understand how A/B testing, user testing and data are used to define design direction. You're literate enough to have conversations with your peers about using these methods to inform your work.
- Experience with scalable brand design systems and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Experience of working with engineers to fine tune immersive digital experiences. You're open to working within technical constraints, but look for ways to push boundaries of what's possible.
- You are proficient in design software used in the design process. Specifically Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, effectively shifting focus and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- An innovative approach to building AI into the creative workflow.
- Experience in digital marketing and advertising is a strong advantage.
