Simply Trade are a supplier of Windows & Doors, servicing the North-West, with our office based near Blackpool. We have been established since 2013 and need to build our team to allow us to better serve our demanding customer base. **Role Basics**:
This is predominantly an office based role, but as we are a small team there will be some crossover of roles with the rest of the team, **meaning that some of your time will be spent working in the warehouse and possibly on the delivery vans. There will be manual handling tasks involved, moving windows / glass / doors etc. **Manual handling training will be required.

**IDEALLY WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE WINDOW INDUSTRY, OR SOMEONE WHO HAS WORKED IN AN TRADE B2B ENVIRONMENT SUCH AS A BUILDERS MERCHANT/ TRADE COUNTER.**

**Sales Administrator Duties**:

- Take customer enquiries over the phone
- Input new quotes onto our in-house software
- Analyse customer order requirements & spot 'missed information'
- Advise customers of regulations and safety guidelines
- Review supplier order confirmations for accuracy
- Inputting remedial requests and ordering parts
- Communicate with customers throughout the sales process, chase up enquiries with new and existing customers, following up all completed quotes to maximise order conversion
- Target local small businesses and tell them about how Simply Trade could help them by becoming their new supplier of windows, doors etc
- A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO CHASING QUOTES AND PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS WILL BE REQUIRED
- Build strong customer relations with our customer base
- Your role will involve some working in our busy warehouse at times helping with unloading supplier deliveries, loading our delivery vans, assisting with customer collection. THIS TYPICALLY MAY TAKE UP 20% OF YOUR WORKING WEEK
- Some general 'housework' at times such as stock rotation, maintaining van & warehouse condition i.e tidying, cleaning etc

**Skills Required**:

- Great communication skills, able to deal with customers of all types, at all levels
- Strong organisational skills, able to work under own initiative
- Possess an eye for detail
- Be highly motivated, with a passion for exceeding targets
- Be confident and assertive when contacting new & existing customers
- Ability to work under pressure at times, prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- Ability to absorb new information quickly. We deal with many products, and a good knowledge of our products will enable you to perform your job well
- Be a confident IT user. Almost all of our work is done using a computer, utilising MS Office & industry specific systems (training will be provided)

**Experience Required**:

- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE of the Window/Door industry, is a HUGE ADVANTAGE
- Other useful experience could include: Builders Merchants operative, Trade Counter Assistant etc
- Being familiar with any/all of the following programs: Business Micros/ Window Designer/ T-Cards online
