**About us**
Blackstock Farm Co Ltd, established in 2005, is a family owned and run award winning events and retail business. Its head office is in a beautiful rural location in Hellingly, East Sussex with views over the surrounding countryside and towards the South Downs National Park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bank reconciliation.
- Processing and payment of purchase invoices.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Keeping tidy and accurate filing for audit purposes.
- Answer telephone calls and take messages.
- Maintain an up-to-date contact list of clients and vendors.
- Liasing with payroll and HR providers as needed.
- Assisting the Directors and Accountants as needed.
Essential Skills:
- As a premier wedding venue, professional and accurate verbal and written communication is a minimum requirement when dealing with customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to both work in a team and independently as needed.
- Self-motivating.
- Ability to use Xero and Quickbooks accounting software, Excel, Word, Outlook and our bespoke events software after training.
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
