We're currently recruiting a fantastic position with a small independent accountancy practice in East Sussex who are looking for a Client Manager to join them, with the opportunity to become a partner in the next 12-18 months. There is a ready made portfolioof work to pick up with a fee income of £200k, plus the opportunity to grow this further. The client base is made up of sole trader, partnerships and Ltd companies across a range of industries but the practice has a large proportion of medical clients too.

You will have a hands on position with a small team supporting you with accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, and you will be responsible for reviewing work, supporting with the more complicated accounts and tax returns, and assisting with the growth and developmentof the practice through referrals, business development, marketing etc.
- Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
- Planning jobs and working with clients to prepare and complete work
- Preparing year end accounts including reviewing and finalising accounts for sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s and Limited Companies
- Supervising junior members of the team and providing support as required
- Preparing Tax returns and offering an advisory service to clients
- Working closely with the Directors to support the continued success and growth of the firm

**Requirements**:

- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
- 5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience.
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience of QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would be advantageous.

**Benefits**:

- £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
