**Job overview**:
The role of Receptionist/Office Clerk will be based at Meridian House in Lowestoft and is being offered on a Band 2 salary on a part time basis at 30 hours per week. Days of work can be discussed at interview.
You will be supporting Mental Health Professionals within the Youth, CAMHS (Child, Adolescent, Mental Health Services) and LD (Learning Disability) teams, to undertake general administrative tasks.
This is a key role within the team, as you will be one of the first points of contact with the Trust and the CFYP Service, in a busy and fast paced working environment.

**Main duties of the job**:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Covering Reception
- Typing letters (using Word)
- Dealing with Service User enquiries and welcoming visitors to the office
- Booking appointments
- General administrative duties (ie: photocopying, scanning etc)
- Updating Patient Record System (Lorenzo)
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from Service Users and other professionals

The successful applicant will, therefore, need to demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure, be able to meet strict deadlines and be proficient in prioritising a busy workload. There will be constant contact with members of the public and other professionals, therefore exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will need to be a good team player, reliable, flexible in your approach to work, have good time management skills and a positive work ethic. There will be times when there is minimum supervision, so you need to be confident to work on your own as well as part of a team, and to be proactive in your approach to work.

**Working for our organisation**:
You will be joining a dedicated friendly team in a fast-paced environment using a range of clinical systems and Microsoft packages. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential. Knowledge of the Trust Patient Record System, Lorenzo, would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given.

- Minuting of meetings (when needed)
- Data entry
- Audio Typing / Dictation
- Assisting Senior staff with collation of data for regular reports
- Ensuring the Health & Safety checks for the building are completed
