**About the role**:
Funded by the Research England Development Fund, Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement (CAPE) is a ground-breaking project with a budget of approximately £10 million over four years. It is a consortium of five universities (Cambridge, Manchester Nottingham, Northumbria, and UCL) and three policy partners (POST, GO-Science, Transforming Evidence Hub). We explore how to support effective and sustained engagement between academics and policy professionals and provide knowledge that improves the ways that universities engage with national government, parliament and local and regional authorities. In the final year of the project, we want to synthesise our learning and deliver a sector wide engagement programme to improve academic policy engagement capabilities in both universities and government. As Capabilities and Impact Coordinator, this is where you come in.

**About you**:
The CAPE Capabilities and Impact Coordinator at University College London (UCL), is suited to a wide variety role, but would be particularly well-suited to someone with interests, skills and expertise in:

- **Networking, **effective communication and relationship-building skills**: The role involves collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academics, policy professionals, and government officials. Civil servants with existing connections and the ability to engage stakeholders will excel in this role.
